A life-long boater, I grew up boating in the San Juan Islands, Canadian Gulf Islands, and lakes throughout the Northwest. Over the years I’ve enjoyed pushing myself to expand my cruising area to Desolation Sound and beyond, with plans to go even further! I began this blog in 2010 as a creative outlet and a way to share my boating and travel experiences. In recent years I began creating videos for my YouTube channel while I learn the craft of video production and editing. Thanks for following along!
“Jolly Mon”, a 1970 Tollycraft Royal Express Cruiser, was my first boat. Purchased in 2004, I cruised aboard her for nearly sixteen years, selling her in December 2019. Owning this boat taught me so much over the years, and I am thankful for all of the wonderful adventures she took me on.
“Blackbird” is a 1981 Tollycraft 34 Sedan. She is powered by twin 165 hp Volvo Penta diesels. She was purchased in December 2019, so I’m still getting to know her and outfit her for cruising!
